Water Quality TMDL Reports

Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDL)

Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDL) Program is administered by the State of Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). A TMDL is the calculated pollutant amount that a waterbody can receive and still meet Oregon water quality standards. DEQ has divided the state into basin areas. The City of Silverton lies in the Molalla-Pudding River Subbasin of the Willamette Valley. The 2016 TMDL report contains a summary of the last five years efforts to manage, maintain, and improve the water quality in our area.
