everbridge Citizen Alert - Notification Program sign up
Emergency management is the organized analysis, planning, decision-making, and assignment of available resources to mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from the effects of all hazards. The goals of emergency management are to save lives, prevent injuries, and protect property and the environment.
The City’s Emergency Operations Plan addresses a number of potential threats to the community, including severe weather emergencies, flooding, major fire, hazardous materials, earthquakes, volcanic activity and terrorism.
It is imperative that all citizens be prepared to the extent possible for any disaster. Information is found on this site that will assist you in the event of an emergency.
