Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDL)
Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDL) Program is administered by the State of Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). A TMDL is the calculated pollutant amount that a waterbody can receive and still meet Oregon water quality standards. DEQ has divided the state into basin areas. The City of Silverton lies in the Molalla-Pudding River Subbasin of the Willamette Valley. The 2021-2026 TMDL report contains a summary of the last five years efforts to manage, maintain, and improve the water quality in our area.
Please contact Public Works Department, if you have any questions or comments regarding this program at 503-873-8679.
